AMP support reduces the burden of living, becoming a catalyst for young people’s education

Ms Raesah, a Nanyang Polytechnic Business Management student, used her mother’s sacrifice as motivation to study seriously to change her family’s life. Her mother worked as a bus driver earning $500 a month to support her four children after her father was imprisoned.

The mother often went hungry to ensure her children had enough to eat and received a good education. Ms Raesah helped ease her mother’s burden by helping with the housework and looking after her siblings while balancing school and family life.

Ms Raesah received a scholarship from AMP, giving her hope of completing her studies, finding a stable job, and helping her family. People are encouraged to donate to AMP to help underprivileged families like Ms Raesah.
